Sometimes we all want an easy way to make money. Maybe building a business can make you earn a lot of money, but that takes a lot of time and effort.
But since I was 15 I have been earning money in several different ways and I will show you my favorite ones.
Note: CHF 1 is about 1 Dollar

When I was 14 I did an official babysitting course where we leaned everything from changing diapers to activities to do with the kids we are babysitting.
After absolving this course, I have been babysitting different kids up until now. During the lockdown I got an amazing opportunity to babysit two sweet girls almost everyday.
What I can say from my experience is, that it can be chill and fun or really exhausting, it depends on the kid, their mood and your mood.
But it’s an easy way to make money, when I first started I got about CHF 12 an hour and now it’s between 15 and 20 dollars an hour.
2. Filling out online surveys and make money
I once got like 15 Swiss francs from EnscheiderClub but it may take a long time to get together an amount of money. They pay depending on how long the survey is, between 0.20 and 5 dollars per survey.
3. Selling your old clothes
This is such an easy way to make money. I mean we all have old clothes just sitting in our wardrobe and we all know that we won’t ever wear them.
There are different ways of selling your clothes, you could participate in a flea market or join depop. Depop is an app where you can sell your clothes online, I use it too and have sold some clothes on there.
4. Become a delivery rider
In Basel, where I live you can always see many people on their bikes riding through the town and delivering food. I personally haven’t done that yet, but I think it’s a great way to ride your bike and make money at the same time.
The easiest way to become a tutor, is by being one at your school. I know that there are tutors at my school and they aren’t paid badly (I think something around 25 dollars).
But you need to be good at one subject in order to be a tutor.
There are also ways to be an online tutor, but I haven’t tried that out so I can’t recommend any websites.
6. Sell your old books
This goes hand in hand with selling your old clothes, but I feel like we often forget about books. Buying a new book can be quite expensive, then we read it once and it just stays in our room for the longest time.
You can sell your books at a flea market or there are also websites where you can send in your books.
7. Make money by rent out a spare room on Airbnb
If you have a spare room in your house, why not make money from it? It may take some time to make a sleeping room out of it but then it will be an easy way for you to make money.
I think Airbnb is a great way to rent out your room.
I hope you got some new ideas to make some money in your free time, I would recommend doing these since we are still young and have time to make some money 🙂
